The concept of a judiciary interpreter’s duty of care toward limited-English-proficient (LEP) clients is a subject that doesn’t get addressed, which makes it a very difficult topic to research. I bring up the subject in the hopes of provoking an open and honest discussion that contributes to the best standards of practice in the profession.
